Zurich Private Clients is planning to re-launch its high net worth Travel insurance product for customers in late 2012.
Dubbed Zurich Private Clients Travel policy, the new travel product is only available as an extension to Home and Ultimate Home insurance and will provide the same high quality cover as its earlier version to the customers.
The product will now be underwritten by Zurich, which is scheduled to roll-out the refreshed proposition to brokers later this year.
Zurich Private Clients head Matthew Schofield said the re-launch marks another step by the company towards expanding the business it has developed in the past ten years.
The policy's standard benefits include worldwide travel cover for up to 90 consecutive days for the insured and family, 10m pounds medical and emergency expenses per person per trip, as well as winter sports for up to 31 consecutive days.
Medical emergency claims services will be provided by International Zurich World Travel Protection team, while Zurich Private Clients claims team will be responsible for handling all of the other claims.
