Silk Road Economic Belt--China-Kazakhstan Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum, hosted by the Trade Development Bureau was successfully held in Almaty on May 21. China’s consul-general to Almaty Zhang Wei and Trade Development Bureau official Wu Tongdiao and chairman of Almaty Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
The forum includes various branch activities like China-Kazakhstan Business Matchmaking Meeting, China(Sichuan province)--Central Asia (Kazakhstan) Business Matchmaking Meeting and Xindu Ditrict Advantageous Industry Promotion Meeting in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan province, Silk Road International Ecological Industry Expo and Green Product (Gansu·Zhangye) Fair Kazakhstan Promotion Meeting, and Shaanxi-Kazakhstan Business Promotion Meeting.
With rich activities, the forum has made positive results and played a active role in carrying out the strategic idea of building a “Silk Road Economic Belt” proposed by the central government and advancing China-Kazakhstan trade and economic cooperation and communication.
